What's the color of colourless light, can you feel the green of the grass?

Hi I'm Emmi, I'm 17 years old girl from Sothern Finland and I like music. That's what I'm in a nutshell, but besides that I'm also a lot of more, and about that part I'm supposed to tell you a bit now.

So my name is Emmi. Now I think it's a nice Finnish name, just the only right name for me, but I hated that name before because it's not really beautiful or special. It doesn't have any deeper meaning and my parents didn't think it's ethymologic roots when they gave that name to me. My bigsister had a doll called Emmi and the whole namething is my bigsister's idea. Some of us are named after great actors/actresses or important persons, I was named after a babydoll, which however was as loved as a doll ever can be.

Too often we just pass the time of day to forget how time passes.

My name in the Internet is usually Fowy, and I've made up that name from my mind, there's just some letters I like. Actually I'm sick and tired of it but I can't really be without it. It's been my name in the Internet for about 5 years now. Besides Fowy I use name ripsi in the net, it doesn't either have any great story behind it.

Show me a garden that's bursting into life

Like the most of a Finnish people of my age, I go to school, I'm now at my second year at upper secondary. Sometimes (like dark mornings and afternoon's maths lessons) the thing sucks too much, but usually I like school. My favorite subjects are languages like English, French and Swedish, History, Art and Music. There isn't really a subject I hate, I think there's good and bad sides in every subject, but I can still tell you that I'm so pleased that at upper secondary there's only one compulsory course of both Physics and Chemistry. I'm getting good grades at school, not always brilliant but not too much of lousy grades either so it's okay. I think the most important thing is that I'm happy with my grades, and I'm happy as long as my GPA is eight or above it, like it's now.

My appearance is not really special. I've got oval face, greyish blue eyes, blond lashes and thin lips. My hair is quite short, thin and brunette at the moment though my natural haircolor is blonde. I'm 170 cm tall, my skin is very fair so at summer I usually instead of tanning just burn. A little piercing can be found from the right side of my lower lip, it's been there since August 2007.

My character is quite bubbly and social. I get excited about things very easily, I want that everyone is having a good time and feeling great. I want to make the world a better place and I'm an anarchist, I've got very strong opinions about many things even though I sometimes might be too shy to say them out loud. I'm quite pessimistic when it comes to myself, maybe we can blame it on my youth. My friend circle is really colorful and I know very different kind of people, which I consider as one of the greatest resources in my life. I want to be as liberal as I can, I don't like the idea that a person is judged by his/hers appearance or thoughts. I long for more justice in the world and I want to make people think sometimes something else that only themselves. I like to think and I think a lot, sometimes too much and time by time everything else that I should be thinking. I like to write down my thoughts in my blog and sometimes they come out as poems, but I've never been good at writing whole stories, because I'm so lousy at writing ends for them. I love to sit in a café drinking tea and watching the people passing by. I'm really curious and I want to always know what's going on, but I don't want to stick my nose into other people's things that are not my buisness. I loose my temper quite easily, but I really can't be mad for a long time. I'm quite lazy and self-indulgent and I like bohemian lifestyle. I love everything beautiful and I need beauty around me or I'll anguish easily.

You're faking a smile with the coffee to go.

I like many things, like photography. It's great that I can capture little beautiful things and important moments inside of a metal box. My dream is to someday get to photograph in the middle of a war, even though war isn't really a too beautiful thing to watch and it would be incredibly dangerous. It would be so amazing to take a photo which people would remember for years, photo which would make people feel strong feelings years after years. Besides taking photos I like to watch them. I love fashion photos, landscape photos, portraits, actually pretty much all kinds of photos. My favorite photographer is Robert Doisneau. Besides photography I like many other things too like tea, dogs and dewdrops on a lady's mantle. Wool socks, scarfs, the scents of a haircolor and a microphone, fog, nostalgy and chewing gum bubbles. Like I've never seen the sky before.

Like I told in the beginning of this text, I like music. I like it even more than photography or thinking, I like it so much that I decided to write a whole chapter only about music. I was in a music class for 7 years of my time at comprehensive school, and music is really important thing to me, just like photography. I listen to music very much, and if the music is not playing from my player, it plays in my head. I love to sing and I sing a lot, it's so incredible that a person can control his/hers vocal cords and produce musical and diverse voice without any instrument. I've also played acoustic guitar at music institute for 2½ years, but I quitted it cause the music institute was not my thing. Now I play guitar just when I want and need to relax. My taste in music is really vast, like my friend circle, I listen to all kinds of music. Mainly from my cd-shelf can be found rock in it's many forms. I like also Irish music, cinematic music and jazz. There's so much amazing bands and only a really tiny bit can be found from my fanlistings. It's impossible to put my favorite bands in any order, but durig couple of years here a Brittish band called Muse has became the most important band to me.

A devil can look like an angel but an angel can only look like itself.

My future is open, at the same time that thing feels really distracting and really liberating. I'm lousy at making future plans that keep, because my mind changes so often. I've planned only unimportand and easy things about my life, like after who I want to name my pets and where I want to live when I'm retired. I know where I want to travel in this world and that I want to go skydiving someday, bicycle to the lake from the landing-stage and give a little poor streetdog from Tallin a home, but I have no clue when it comes to this question everyone have been thinking since they were little children: what I want to do when I grow up? There's just too much options and not enough skills. Or too much pessimism that I claim to be just realism. Someone clearly really wise scientist said that a person would be the happiest in his or hers childhood favorite job. If I'd go looking for happines in the light of that, in the days I would be a vet, in the evenings I would be a gardener and at weekends I would dance ballet at the national opera. Sounds good, doesn't it.

Maybe our lives have just begun.
